Just Books!

You can be anyone, go anywhere and do anything inside the pages of a book. They can take you to different countries, different worlds, and inside the life experiences of people of all kinds, rich or poor, good or evil. You'll never be bored with a good book! What have you been reading this month?

These days we can choose to read a print book, use an e-reader, or listen to an audiobook. Whichever format you prefer, you're welcome to this book group. Obviously, it will be a great place to share fiction or non-fiction of particular interest to lesbians, but you are welcome to share with us your thoughts about any books you've read and would recommend (especially over this month) or to warn us to avoid any books you thought were awful.

Nobody is obliged to talk about their reading matter if they would prefer to listen, but this will be a supportive place where everyone will be encouraged to share, if they would like to.

Going forward, we may want to talk about one book in particular each month, but this book group is intended to promote conversation about the books we're reading in general - so there will always be something in it for women who haven't read a particular book that's mentioned in the announcement.
