What we’re about
If you are an older lesbian (probably over 50) and you live in the Three Counties area (Beds, Herts and Bucks), you are probably as unimpressed as I am with the relative lack of social opportunities.
This group has been set up for older lesbians in this general area to have the chance to meet, sometimes online but mostly in real life - partly dependent on time of year and weather, and partly dependent on what's going on that might be of interest to us.
The group is a sub-group of Older Lesbians Online and I'd like to encourage you to sign up for that too, although that is a group which only meets online because it covers a much bigger geographical area. We'll use their Zoom facilities to have a diary meeting, probably every quarter.
Please do volunteer to host an event for us because there won't be any if nobody is willing! Events don't need to be in your home - they could involve meeting up anywhere in public. And if you're planning an event, please remember to consider disabled access - we're getting older and some of us need these things to be borne in mind, or we can't go to events!
