Each person has to decide whether or not any other person is going to be their spiritual tutor. That is not something that any human law can decree. That doesn't work in the spiritual teachings.

God has given a teacher for every state of consciousness.

Divine love means to love your neighbor as yourself. To do that, you have to love yourself. Any true teacher in any religion will always bring out this very same message about divine love.”
