Olympia International Friends French Conversation Grou

Bien venue à tous! Several acquaintances who met in a painting class are forming a group of people interested to practice speaking French together at a venue (TBD) in Olympia. A knowledge of French at the advanced beginner level and beyond would be useful, but anyone who enjoys the language and wants to practice hearing and speaking French is welcome!

For many people moving from reading and writing French to confidence in speaking conversational French is the challenge. A primary goal of this group is to help one another get past that hurdle and begin enjoying French conversation while making new French-speaking friends!

At the first meeting, the group members themselves will determine together how meetings will be conducted, but once the approach is decided, we will follow that for at least 6 + months, then review and adjust.
Lessons and content will not be offered, but whether or not to use questions and prompts, rotating facilitation, and other ways to encourage conversation will be considered.
