A new season of Olympia’s premiere storytelling competition begins!
In StoryOly, community members tell true stories based on a theme and are rated by group of judges chosen from the audience. The winner will be entered into the StoryOly Grand Slam next September. The theme this week is “Bad Life Choices”, so you know it’s gonna be good!
You can put your name in for a chance to tell a story or just listen in as an audience member.
The event is free, but the organizers encourage donations at the door.
The event itself starts at 7pm, however StoryOly is very popular and the bar gets crowded fast, so I’ll be there at 6pm and recommend that attendees get there by 6:15. If you’d like to put your name in to tell a story, you’ll want to do that by 6:30pm at the front door.
