Peter Daniel is an accomplished Seattle-based saxophone performer, instructor and horn section leader. He has toured with such acts as Lauryn Hill & the Fugees, ODESZA, Father John Misty, Tito Puente Jr, Charlie Aponte, Taylor Hicks, Liv Warfield, the Polyrhythmics, the True Loves and many others. He has appeared on over 35 releases for 20 different artists and is a mainstay around town in the funk and jazz scenes.
Peter’s touring career has taken him to headlining and mainstage performances at Coachella, New Orleans Jazz Heritage Festival, Climate Pledge Arena, the Moda Center, Rogers Arena, and festivals in Zurich, Milan, Rome, Austria, France and many others.
Peter is the saxophonist for the punk/jazz band “Mega Cat,” and you can hear Peter's writing talents on display in the bands 45th St Brass and Futurenot, as well as his singles "Take A Little Chance" and “Miles Around,” all of which are streaming on all platforms. He also has his new big band PBS (Peter Band Supreme), album coming late 2025. For a complete list of where to listen, check out the discography page or some of the videos.
Daniel's new album, "Quartets", features some of Seattle's best musicians: Joe Doria, Marina Albero, Andy Coe, Marina Christopher, RL Heyer, Grant Schroff, Heather Thomas, Xavier Lecouturier and others.
