South Pacific @ Olympa Eagles
Details
Southern Pacific performs Western swing from the days when your mail came on horseback and your milk was delivered to the door, harkening the musical traditions that the rail line by the same name brought to the Pacific Northwest when the music was first being developed. The music highlights a unique synthesis of Southern and Western American folk music traditions with the urban sounds of early jazz and blues.
The band is made up of a rowdy, and well-seasoned, cast of Pacific Northwest musicians featuring members from such bands as Bevy, Eden Lane, Los Flacos, Hot Club Sandwich, The Oly Mountain Boys, The Tune Stranglers, and Vendredi's Bag.

About Olympia Jazz Central
The Olympia Jazz Central mission is to sustain and support South Sound Jazz events such as concerts, education/workshops, artist collaboration and more. OJC also sponsors a youth scholarship program. We've been connecting musicians with audiences, teachers with students and just gettin' in the groove together since 2009. Olympia Jazz Central is a 501C3. We are 100% volunteer operated and we rely on donations to keep the jazz train chuggin' along.
