This is a 6 mile round-trip, out and back walk along the beach at Dungeness Wildlife Refuge/Recreation Area. We will walk about a half mile through the forest on a paved trail and descend down to the beach. Instead of walking the Spit, we will turn west and walk along the beach for about 3 miles until we reach McDonald Creek.
This is a flat beach with sand and rocks. Sorry, no dogs allowed.

Low tide is at 157pm at -.8 feet.

Park at the very end of Voice of America Rd and meet at the trailhead entrance. No parking pass needed. Restroom available here. Bring your America the Beautiful National Park or Senior Lifetime National Park pass in case volunteers are checking. One pass allows 4 people.
