Heart o' the Forest Trail, Olympic National Park

Details
This is an easy to moderate 4 mile out- and-back hike in a pristine old growth forest at the base of Hurricane Ridge. It starts in E loop of the Heart O' the Hills campground.
Elevation gain/loss is about 800 feet over 2 miles. This trail ends at the boundary of the park and private land with no official turn around or view point, but the journey is worth it.
There may be some muddy areas and a downed tree or two, but overall the trail is well maintained.
This hike is in ONP so you will need the America the Beautiful/Lifetime Senior or similar pass. Stop at the entry kiosk and show your pass, then turn left into Heart of the Hills campground.
Park in the day use area on the left.
