Looking for wild rhododendrons in bloom!

Park at Miller Peninsula State Park Parking lot. Spaces are limited and Discover Pass is required. Try not to park in the horse trailer spaces.
Vault toilet available in the lot. No other facilities on the trail.

We will start on the Diamond Point Loop trail, staying to the right. We will walk the Fireweed Road Trail to the Beach Trail (Kiosks A,B,C,D)
This is a 7 mile round-trip, out and back hike through a beautiful forest and a lush, fern-lined ravine. The ravine leads to an isolated, rocky beach with a view of Protection Island.
Elevation gain/loss is 590 feet. High tide is at 1118am at 8.9 feet, so there won't be any beach to stop and have snacks at.

Discover pass required to park.

Leashed dogs are welcome.
