Japa Walk at Deer Lake 📿
Details
Join us every Friday in July at 7:30 PM for a peaceful Japa Walk through the beautiful surroundings of Deer Lake.
Through regular practice, japa cultivates deep inner peace, helping us meet life's challenges with greater grace, clarity, and presence.
Japa is the practice of inwardly repeating a sacred mantra.
Sri Vitthala Giridhari Parabrahmane Namah
- Together, we'll chant outloud for the first 30 minutes for those who are new to the mantra and then continue walking in silent contemplation.
- Walking japa naturally synchronizes breath, movement, and mantra. This gentle rhythm helps settle the mind and invites a deeper sense of presence.
Our intention is to cultivate a regular practice of japa while walking the spiritual path together.
This is a gentle, contemplative walk. No previous meditation or mantra experience is necessary—everyone is warmly welcome.
What to Bring:
- Japa mala and japa bag (if you have them)
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Water (optional)
We look forward to walking together and allowing the Divine Name to guide us inward. 🕉️🙏
