The Touch Experience - An Exploration of Platonic Touch

*Doors open at 6:30pm and close promptly at 7pm. Om House will remain open for 30 minutes after the event to provide an opportunity to socialize.

Join us in creating a safe space for co-regulation through non-sexual, platonic touch at the beautiful Om House!
We'll begin with an exploration of consent, including practicing a clear “yes” and a clear “no.” Then we’ll explore touch through guided partnered activities. There will be opportunities to switch partners throughout the evening and there will be a designated quiet space to go to if you feel overwhelmed.
This is an experiment in safety, consent, and healing touch. You will never be required to participate in anything without your full consent. However, by RSVPing we ask that you come open to exploring authentic connection and mindful touch, while remaining aware of your own boundaries, as past trauma may surface.
Please also practice good hygiene: bathe beforehand, wear deodorant, and avoid strong perfumes or colognes out of respect for others’ sensitivities. By participating, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your health and safety.

Naomi Way has extensive experience as a group facilitator within the Portland community. Her work centers on fostering deeper awareness of the societal conditioning that contributes to disconnection—particularly around touch. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals can explore nervous system regulation and engage in co-healing through non-sexual, platonic touch.
