February Meetup...
Advancing AWS Security: Exploring Resource Control Policies, Assume Role with Root, and CloudFront VPC Origins.
This session will cover:
- Resource Control Policies (RCPs): Learn how RCPs enable centralized management of resource permissions across multiple accounts, allowing you to define guardrails that ensure resources adhere to your organization’s access control guidelines.
- Assume Role with Root: Understand the new capabilities that allow the root user to assume roles, enhancing security by minimizing direct root user access and promoting the principle of least privilege.
- CloudFront VPC Origins: Discover how CloudFront’s integration with Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) origins enhances security by enabling content delivery from applications hosted in private subnets, making CloudFront the single point of entry and reducing exposure to the public internet.
