Jay (AWS) Glues Some CSVs Into Athena

September Meetup...

NOTE: We are meeting 1 week later than usual due to Labor Day

In July, Jay got thrown into a bunch of AWS things he hadn't used before. He probably still doesn't understand advanced use cases of these tools yet, but he'll present a working demo of grabbing "a bunch" of CSV files, using AWS Glue Crawlers to "create" AWS Glue Tables, and query those tables in AWS Athena. All managed by Terraform. Can this stack scale to millions of rows from hundreds of sources with good performance? It should, right? Jay's still finding out.
