Advent of Code: Elixir Edition

Happy Holidays!

Last month, Abby Jones showed us what makes the collaborative and interactive Livebook awesome. This month, we're going to put what we learned into practice as we work through some of the Advent of Code challenges together in Elixir! For inspiration, you can watch José Valim, the creator of the Elixir language, solve the 2021 Advent of Code Day 1 challenge.

New to Elixir? No worries - we're fans of pair/ensemble programming. We can work on it together :) We'll have HexDocs to support our learning and lots of space on the whiteboard to collaborate, too.

Please feel free to bring a laptop if you'd like to take Elixir for a test drive. If you don't have access to one or prefer not to bring one, you'll still be able to participate and help us navigate our way through the Advent of Code prompts.

Food (featuring a few holiday faves) will be provided for attendees.
