An impromptu week (ish) of informal public lands outreach and advocacy efforts in Omaha focused on the looming Grand Staircase–Escalante CRA vote.
Join in on a week of public lands outreach and advocacy efforts in Omaha focused on the looming Congressional Review Act (CRA) vote targeting Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument.
This is an informal and evolving outreach effort intended to connect with local conservationists, outdoor recreation advocates, students, wildlife and pollinator groups, public lands supporters, and anyone interested in protecting thoughtful public process and America’s shared public lands heritage.
Possible activities throughout the week may include:

• postcard signing
• constituent outreach
• informal meetups/coffee conversations
• advocacy planning
• tabling or visibility efforts
• connecting with local groups and organizations
• preparing for potential meetings with congressional offices
The CRA vote could happen as soon as early June, making this a critical moment for public awareness and constituent engagement.
Feel free to suggest any events, meetings, gatherings, hikes, paddles, brewery events, coffee clatches, community happenings, or other spaces that may be a good fit to connect with folks who align with public lands and conservation values.
Whether you want to actively participate or just learn more about what’s happening, you’re welcome to connect.
More details and updates will be shared as plans develop. Drop me a line if you have ideas or want to get connected.
