🥾 Hiking distance: 8 km total (Balcony Walk)

🕕 Timings:

• 6:00 AM – Departure from Muscat
• 8:00 AM – Walk through the old village of Misfat Al Abryeen: stone houses, palm farms, ancient falaj irrigation system (1 hour)
• 9:00 AM – Drive towards Jebel Shams (~1 hour scenic mountain road)
• 10:00 AM – Start Jebel Shams Balcony Walk (rim walk along the Grand Canyon to the hidden lake & back)
• 2:00 PM – End of hike, drive down from Jebel Shams
• 3:00 PM – Lunch stop at the local Yemeni restaurant
• 4:00 PM – Drive back to Muscat
