In spring 2011, The OMG Club started as OCG's private social group started with only a few members, and soon flourished into a full fledge networking site for local professional women looking to connect, share, and experience the city. We now have over 1,000 "beauties" who participate in our various group activities. We pride ourselves in our diverse group of local members who all have unique talents, are friendly, welcoming, and active within the OMG community. By building this social hub we have been very fortunate to welcome women who are new to the city, are married and looking for a girls night out, expand their social circle, participate in group fitness classes, style and beauty workshops, entrepreneurial networking, and so much more. Because we have so many members we are able to do, see, and participate in various activities without it draining our pocket books! We are always on the lookout for new sponsors and perks from local businesses. The group is continuously expanding with new members joining every day. At OMG Club there are always things to do and new friends to meet!
Be respectful when RSVP-ing for events. If you suddenly cant make it to an outing you must update your status in "change RSVP" to no, before the event starts. This helps our organizers know how many spots to reserve etc. Also, most workshops, meet the new members, and theme nights will have a cost, and pre-purchasing tickets will be necessary. Not only does this help us have more elaborate events, but also holds members accountable for their attendance :)
The site is open for members to suggest outings, running buddies or any other ideas you may have. We love to get feedback from the members through group reviews or by rating events you attend! Send me a message, post events, create a topic on the discussion page, or give me a call! No idea is a bad idea!
