From Murder Mondays, a weekly free open mic, to professional shows with international guests and the best of Swiss Stand Up, to Roast Battles and variety nights, we have all kinds of fun for you! Join the group to find folks to go to some of the most fun and welcoming nights in Basel.

Fill your weekend with laughter at The Beast Comedy Club’s Saturday talent showcase. A line up of the best rising talent and a top headliner will make you laugh all night (or at least until 10:30pm). The Beast, Basel’s first ever dedicated comedy club, is proud to showcase how much fantastic comedy talent there is in Switzerland. Bring a friend, a date, family, even an enemy you want to reconnect with- and we’ll make sure you leave smiling.

Tom Devenport is an American writer, voice actor and comedian working out of Basel,Switzerland. He has developed animation, provided voice for commercials and award winning films, and performed in venues ranging from bars with chicken wire around the stage, to clubs, theaters, and festivals around the U.S, and in England and mainland Europe.Feature Acts

SLAYBOY - A Demon-Killing Comedy Show
The Beast Comedy Club, Pfluggässlein 10, Basel, CHIn SLAYBOY Teddy creates a show with which he slays his personal demons live on-stage: through this show Teddy quits smoking, fixes his attention span, finds comfort in and love for his body, maintains a cleaner house, reads a book from cover to cover, finds a way to maintain eye contact for 3 seconds or longer, and grows from a boy into a man. It's an ambitious show that blurs the lines of life lived on and off the stage.
In 2025, SLAYBOY won "Best Stand Up Comedy" at Reykjavik Fringe Festival. Teddy has featured on TV in four countries (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Romania) and is the first mainland European comedian to be featured on LMAOF, the OnlyFans Comedy Production.
Teddy has opened for Todd Barry, Alok, Elf Lyons, Victor Patrascan, Gianmarco Soresi, Dragos, Ashley Gavin, Robby Slowik, Mike Rice, Patrick Spicer, Casey Balsham, Emma Dalenberg, Gauri B, Vidura BR, and many many more.The show takes place at The Beast Comedy Club, Basel's very first comedy club.
