The Beast, Basel’s first ever dedicated comedy club, is proud to showcase how much fantastic comedy talent there is in Switzerland. About the comedians:
Headline Act

A 2024 grand finalist on Romanian TV’s Iumor, Chris Darwa has toured Europe with Tony Law and supported the likes of Jessica Michelle Singleton, Elena Gabrielle, Trevor Lock and Victor Patrascan. He’s performed in the UK, at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, in the US and his native Australia, all while being a regular host, performer and staple of the growing Swiss comedy scene.

Known for thrilling and shocking audiences with punch heavy anecdotes, pointed observations, high energy, playful crowd work and brutal honesty, Chris is a rising star in the world of stand-up and one who’s shows are always a unique experience, not for the faint of heart and not to be missed!

Be it on stage, behind the bar, or at the door, Gian-Marco Lutz always finds a way to be involved with comedy. His energy on stage is deeply silly and slightly chaotic, and even though he doesn't always know what's coming next.
