*Please read fully before reserving, as this event is a bit different than past overnights and our stays at White Mounds County Park*

Introduction: Celebrating our 11th season, join us on another overnight bike camping trip — just enough time to get away without burning through valuable vacation time! White Mounds County Park has been a favorite of the group over the years, and this year's refreshed route will add a Wisconsin Rustic Road and reduce the major climbs while keeping the scenery intact. The full route will push off from Middleton, where we will quickly head west on quiet, rolling Dane County roads before arriving in Sauk City/Prairie de Sac. Folks who desire a shorter option can start here. Once further out of town, we will experience a beautiful designated Wisconsin Rustic Road, where we can soon take a rest break at Natural Bridge State Park and the nearby hamlet of Leland, where there is an optional meal or refreshment stop. We will meander further until we reach our rustic campsite near White Mounds Lake, where we will be secluded but still have access to the main campground facilities (see amenities below). The second day, we will catch services in Plain and again in Sauk City as we head back to the start.

⚡ E-Bikes are welcome, but please reach out before reserving to ensure adequate service can be provided and that goals align. ⚡

Helmets, lights, proper nutrition, and hydration are all encouraged. A minimum of two 16 oz. bottles of water and two energy bars daily are good starting points. Participants should be prepared to ride the entire route at their own pace. Please inform the leader if you abandon the ride or deviate significantly from the intended course.
We will cancel at least 2 hours in advance if there is bad weather. Please be courteous to the organizers by RSVPing only if you intend to attend and keep your RSVP up to date. This is for the small minority - most of you are great, but repeated no-shows occupying valuable spots may result in your ban from the group. We reserve the right to replace it with a similar event or cancel due to a lack of interest, current events, or poor trail or road conditions.
