June ONADC Meetup

Details
Hello all --
We're feeling the love this month. The USO (http://www.uso.org/) and The Fiscal Times (http://www.thefiscaltimes.com/) (TFT) have teamed up to host the June Meetup! Thanks to the generosity of both organizations, we were able to expand the RSVP list to accommodate those on the wait list.
We'll hear a short presentation from both organizations and enjoy some delicious food and bevs at the National Press Club. Please note we're starting a bit early this month. You can find us in the Murrow, White and Lisagor rooms.
And don't forget, we require first and last names for entry so please make sure both are on your meetup profile.
PLEASE DO NOT RSVP UNLESS YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME ARE IN YOUR MEETUP PROFILE.
More about TFT:
The Fiscal Times (TFT) is digital news, opinion and media service devoted to comprehensive quality reporting on vital fiscal, budgetary, health care and economic issues. TFT strives to become one of the most trusted sources of news, opinion, and research on fiscal policy and its effects on the country at large, including business and consumers.
The Fiscal Times is an editorially independent enterprise, written, edited and produced by experienced professional journalists, that provides an array of original reporting and analysis. It also publishes curated content from its partners, including The Washington Post, Business Insider, Talking Points Memo, and Kaiser Health News, and research data important to understanding government policy and economics.
The publication is part of a new era of independently supported non-partisan journalism, and emerges in part from the increased demand for ongoing news coverage of fiscal policy in the wake of one of the worst recessions in history. TFT works to present fair, accurate and balanced reporting and serve as an honest broker in sorting through a broad range of viewpoints. The senior editors of The Fiscal Times, including Editor-in-Chief Jackie Leo and Washington Editor Eric Pianin, have sole responsibility for the selection, editing and display of articles, graphics, illustrations and video that appear on the site. The editorial staff operates from offices in New York and the National Press Building in Washington, D.C.
The Fiscal Times has been organized as a limited liability company (LLC) and is owned and funded by Peter G. Peterson.
More about USO:
The USO (United Service Organizations) lifts the spirits of America’s troops and their families millions of times each year at hundreds of places worldwide. We provide a touch of homethrough centers at airports and military bases, top quality entertainment and innovative programs and services. We also provide critical support to those who need us most, including forward-deployed troops and their families, woundedwarriors and their families and the families of the fallen.
This year, the USO embarked on an ambitious strategic shift in communications. Our team of digital journalists showcases the USO’s mission through various internal and external USO channels. Our collaborative reporting model updates USO.org, USO social media, USO OnPatrol magazine, and the USO Blog -- plus provides stories and content to journalists around the world.
