Last Monday RTP ride of the season
Details
The days have gotten shorter, the weekday rides have crept into the afternoon, and it's gotten harder for folks to leave work on time. So we've gotta call it a season. This will be the last regular Monday afternoon/evening ride, although we're optimistic that some entrepreneurial Drafters will post other weekday rides from time to time, and of course we'll continue to ride on weekends and holidays.
Same route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50341307 Like last year's route, this one is a barbell. What's changed is the first loop. It's shaped like a glass jug, which is awesome. It goes up Scott King Road and Herndon Road, and come back down on Grandale, which avoids the narrow and busy stretches on Barbee Road and Woodcroft Parkway. It's 21.6 miles with 934 feet of climbing.
