Haunted Hundred Weekend on Topsail Island

We will host a beach house weekend again with the 6th Annual Haunted Hundred as the main event! This keeps getting better every year! It's much more than riding and there’s plenty for our non-riding friends to enjoy.

You do not need to participate in the beach house or the weekend events in order to ride with us on Sunday's Haunted Hundred Ride. The Haunted Hundred Ride will be posted separately.

Friday Evening we may hit a bar or two for some dancing and playing pool. Let's break the ice and get acquainted with your housemates.

Saturday after Michael prepares his famous breakfast of pumpkin pancakes and maple link sausage. Some folks may opt for some kayaking around Permuda Island if the rental establishments are open. Many enjoy some beach time. Do your own thing or do something with others; your choice.

Saturday Evening you can choose to go out to your favorite restaurant or partake in the group feast (traditionally from Topsail Steamer!) at the beach house.

On Sunday, the Drafters ride with the Turtles!! Everyone can regroup at the Post Ride Party at Salty's Surf Shack (be sure to purchase the tickets for Non-Riding Guests). Stay Sunday night and rest or, if you need to head back home, you’ll have the beach house to freshen up for the ride back home. Our check-out will not be until Monday morning.

Requirements:

1. Please sign up for the ride on your own. Details are at Salty Turtle Cycling Club Haunted Hundred. There are only 63 spots left.

2. Contact Margaret-Anne to provide your payment $530.00 for a bedroom with private bathroom in this year's beach house. We think this is a great deal for your own king or queen bed with private bathroom. It's 1.4 miles from the Surf Shack. If it doesn't fill by July 30th, we will cancel, but this event has just gets bigger and bigger every year so please reply quickly if you want in on the house. You can find it by looking on VRBO. The name of the property on VRBO is "Oceanfront Retreat with Premium Views, Roof Top Hot Tub, Private Pool, Game Room and More...!"

If our house is at capacity, please consider starting your rental. We can share our address and include everyone in the group fun. Just let us know.
