Road Cycling in North Springfield

Welcome to the 2023 road cycling season.

Lots of paces from top racers to those just starting an exercise program. Several clubs will likely join together, including Viet Velo, Korvelo (Korean Road Cycling Club), Whole Wheel Velo Club.

Our meetup allows all categories of cyclists to participate and enjoy biking in three major groups on different distance 14, 17, and 24 miles with average speeds respectively below 15 mph, 15-20 mph and above 20 mph and separated leaders.

Woody Lipinski for beginners, re-starters and lowest speed category cyclists. Peter Klosky for intermediate speed cyclists and an ad-hoc leader for advanced pace riders. For cyclists who prefer only flat paths we are offering 9 miles paved Cross Country Trail parallel to Accotink Creek the finest wildlife corridors in Fairfax County.
