- 🐾 Taking Action for Animals Conference – New Orleans – want to come? 🐾New Orleans Marriott Hotel Warehouse Arts District, New Orleans, FL
I’ll be heading to the Taking Action for Animals (TAFA) conference this August in New Orleans—hosted by the Humane Society of the United States (now called Humane World) . It’s a few days of panels, workshops, and thoughtful conversation around how to better protect animals through advocacy, community work, and policy.
📍 Location: New Orleans Marriott Hotel Arts District, 859 Convention Center Blvd, New Orleans, LA 💡
🗓️ Dates: August 1–3, 2025

What the weekend looks like:
– August 1: Check-in, welcome reception, exhibits
– August 2: Main stage talks, breakout workshops, happy hour
– August 3: Roundtable lunch, closing sessions, exhibits** A few of the issues being explored:**
• Stopping puppy mills, fur farms & animal testing
• Reducing factory farming & protecting farmed animals
• Boosting rescue efforts for wildlife, companion animals & horses
• Advocacy training: lobbying & influencing animal-friendly policies
• Building community networks for lasting animal protection⸻
TAFA is where I’ll be gathering inspiration and ideas to shape future One Love events—especially around animal advocacy. And if you’re there too, it’s a chance to be part of that creative process with me. We can learn, connect, and start building what’s next together—whether you’re curious, passionate, or ready to step into more of a leadership role.
There’s something powerful about being in a space full of people who aren’t just talking about change—they’re building it.
If you’ve been waiting for a moment to get more involved, expand your impact, or connect with others who are leading with heart—this is one of those weekends that can spark that momentum. 🔥
If you’re planning to go (or even just thinking about it), feel free to RSVP here. Would love to meet others who care deeply and are passionate about pushing for big change—whether it’s joining sessions together, sharing notes, or exploring a bit of New Orleans after 💛.
