❤️ One Love Foundation is organizing a special Pawventures day at the Miami-Dade Animal Shelter.

🚨 Important Update

We’ve kept a close eye on the weather today, and there has been a major weather shift to rain and thunderstorms between 11:00 AM–2:00 PM, so we will need to move today’s Pawventures to later in the afternoon to keep everyone safe. We definitely wouldn’t want to walk the doggos under major rainstorms!

If you’re flexible and still able to join us today, we’ll be spacing arrivals to keep things calm:

Group A: arrive around 1:30 PM

Group B: arrive around 2:00 PM

So if you have your group assigned please follow the same group outlined above (but meeting at a later time if you are still able to join us).

Feel free to stop by briefly if conditions feel right for you and your pup, or sit this one out if the ground is still wet. With a large number of dogs expected, our priority is keeping everything relaxed, spaced out, and enjoyable 🐾

We’ll also be hosting another Pawventures very soon, rain-free on February 15! ☀️💛

Fresh air, movement, and human attention make a huge difference for them, and this outing gives each pup a chance to stretch, explore, and feel seen. 🐾

☀️ We’ll start the morning with a casual brunch stop nearby; an easy meet-up point so everyone can arrive, get settled, and then we head to the shelter after. It’s a relaxed way to kick things off before we meet the pups. 🐾 If you miss us at the brunch spot, no problem! You are welcome to meet us back at the shelter at 11:30am ☺️.

After brunch, we’ll head to the shelter to pick up our pups for the day. Fresh air, movement, and human attention make a huge difference for shelter dogs. These outings help reduce stress, improve behavior, and **allow their true personalities to shine **— which can meaningfully increase their chances of adoption ❤️🐶.

We’ll take the dogs to a nearby park for a long walk, playtime, and quality one-on-one attention. Along the way, we’ll capture pup spotlights 📸 — photos and short videos that highlight each dog’s personality, quirks, and charm so they can be shared with the world.

Whether you’ve joined a One Love event before or it’s your first time, everyone is welcome to join in and make a real impact. 💫

If you’d like to add a little extra kindness, you’re welcome to bring a small gift 🎁 for the pups — treats, toys, a bandana or anything simple they can enjoy. Totally optional, but always appreciated. Feel free to bring fun accessories, bandanas, or your camera for those unforgettable moments.

💛 We will meet at the entrance where the shelter staff will sign us up and hand over our pup for the day. We will be put into pairs for our walk with the doggos.

🚨Important update for Pawventures Day this Sunday 🚨

Since we’re expecting a very large group, we will be splitting the group into two groups (two arrival times) so everything runs smoothly.
.
Group A: For those who plan to skip brunch and go directly to the shelter — arrival at 10:30 AM
.
Group B: For those joining brunch first — shelter arrival at 11:30 AM
.
The updated flow will be:
• Group A: Arrival at shelter at 10:30am
• Group B: Brunch + social time: 10:30–11:15 AM at Carrot Express
• Group B: Shelter dog pickup: 11:30 AM
• Dog walk + park time: 11:00am–3:00 PM
.
We’ll be assigning everyone to Group A or Group B shortly and will confirm directly.

If you’re assigned a group but the other arrival time works much better for you, feel free to DM me — we’ll try our best to shift things where possible 🙂
