Community Led oneAPI Forum Series at UC Berkeley

Hello! We are starting a new in-person/hybrid event series where we have community organized forums around oneAPI, SYCL and cross-architecture computing. The purpose is to share ideas, build a connection to those interested in topics in AI, Machine Learning, High Performance Computing.

Forums are meant to be fun and informal! The talks are set to be 20 minutes to help encompass a variety of topics. Whether you are an educator, student, researcher, entrepreneur or just a dabbler – this will be a space to interact, learn, and meet others who are interested in the same topics.

We have a joint headliner from Intel Corporation – Dr. Leila Sabeti PhD and Taylor Lee, who will have an demo session around openVINO.

So join us for an exciting time mixing up with passionate people interested in the same kind of things you are!

Lunch is provided! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Not able to make the trip to Berkeley - this is a hybrid event! You can join from a zoom link. In addition, you can use discord to plan and talk amongst both online and in-person participants.

Not Familiar with oneAPI/SYCL?

What is oneAPI?

oneAPI is an openly spec’d standard based on SYCL - an open alternative to CUDA that allows you to run on multiple accelerators CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs. If the idea that you could use all the hardware on your laptop or be able to have a single code base that will run on multiple GPU or CPU architectures for AI, Machine Learning, and other things, then come over and enjoy a few hours with the oneAPI community!

For more information on oneAPI – please go to: https://oneapi.io/ https://github.com/oneapi-community/awesome-oneapi.
