Japanese speech contest open to the public, all ages.
1st place will receive a Round-trip ticket to Japan!!

Other prizes include a Fitbit, Amazon Gift Cards, a Drone, and more!

We will also be hosting a Hula and Yosakoi dance show during the speech contest.

一般社団法人グローバルウイメンズアソシエーション（ＧＷＡ）が主催する、『夢』スピーチコンテスト。次世代のグローバル人材育成の支援ということで、サンフランシスコ、ベイエリアでは９回目の日本語スピーチコンテストを開催します。

今年の日本語スピーチコンテストも昨年と同様に、日本語人材育成ということで男女分けず、年齢も問わず、全ての方対象に日本語でのスピーチコンテストを行います。

優勝者には、日本行き航空券及びGWA開催サミットにご招待。 2020年に開催される『GWA 世界で闘うグローバル女子会』で、各国の優勝者とともに、サンフランスコ優勝者としてスピーチを行っていただきます。１８歳以下の方が日本に渡航する場合の同行者の旅費はご自身でご用意ください。

In their continued pursuit of nurturing personal development for those studying Japanese, the San Francisco Bay Area’s Global Women’s Association (GWA) chapter will be hosting their annual speech contest again this year.

The theme this year is “My Dream” as well. The Japanese speech contest will be open to everyone of all ages. The winner of this years speech contest will win a round-trip ticket to Japan and an invitation to attend the GWA Summit held in Japan in 2020.

The winner of the San Francisco Bay Area Global Women’s speech contest will join other participants and present his/her speech at the Japan GWA Summit.

If the winner is under 18 years of age the participant must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is responsible for their own travel expenses.
