🫶🏽 We will practice meditating using Tara Brach’s RAIN tool, an easy-to-remember method that you can keep in your back pocket whenever difficulty arises. Sometimes, strong emotions or troubling thoughts come up, and it is useful to have tools that help us to be with ourselves in a way that is supportive and constructive, rather than falling into the pits of dwelling and avoiding that are oh-so-human. This simple but effective tool helps us to press pause and make a U-turn in challenging moments. ✨

🕒 Time: Doors open at 7:15, and we start the session at 7:30

📍 Location: We meet in the Wellington Friends Centre at the end of Moncrieff Street, up the steps and in the room to the right.

💻 Unable to join us in person? The session will also be streamed on Zoom, meeting room number 919-527-2569. There's no passcode on the room, but you will need to be signed in with a Zoom account to join the meeting.
