The five remembrances - the benefits of remembering our mortality
Details
The five remembrances are a Buddhist teaching to help us recall that we are all subject to old age, illness, death, and loss. While this may sound morbid, acceptance of these truths can help us to appreciate life in the moment, to live with more intention and even avoid procrastination. Join us this week for a discussion of the five remembrances and the benefits of remembering that we are mortal.
We'll also be meditating together as a group.
๐ Time: Session starts at 7:30, please aim to arrive 10 minutes early to get settled and so we can start on time.
๐ Location: We meet in the Wellington Friends Centre at the end of Moncrieff Street, up the steps and in the room to the right.
๐ป Unable to join us in person? The session will also be streamed on Zoom, meeting room number 919-527-2569. There's no passcode on the room, but you will need to be signed in with a Zoom account to join the meeting.
