Do you enjoy philosophical pondering with other curious humans? Come and join us in a discussion about existentialism and secular Buddhism! Existentialism is a branch of philosophy with its origins in the mid-19th century that explores topics such as meaning, freedom and isolation. We'll be exploring how these perspectives can be helpful in our lives and how they can help deepen our understanding and practice of the dharma - the teachings of Buddhism.

We'll also be meditating together as a group.

๐Ÿ•’ Time: Session starts at 7:30, please aim to arrive 10 minutes early to get settled and so we can start on time.

๐Ÿ“ Location: We meet in the Wellington Friends Centre at the end of Moncrieff Street, up the steps and in the room to the right.

๐Ÿ’ป Unable to join us in person? The session will also be streamed on Zoom, meeting room number 919-527-2569. There's no passcode on the room, but you will need to be signed in with a Zoom account to join the meeting.
