Making the most of your 4000 weeks of life
Details
Even a full human life is staggeringly short. How do we make the best use of the time we have? In this session we'll be exploring ideas from Oliver Burkeman's 2021 book 'Four thousand weeks: Time management for mortals'. We'll start with a quick summary of the book, then will discuss whether it's ever possible to complete our to-do lists, how we make choices in how we spend our time, and how to find the balance between focusing on the future and the present moment.
We'll also be meditating together as a group.
๐ Time: Session starts at 7:30, please aim to arrive 10 minutes early to get settled and so we can start on time.
๐ Location: We meet in the Wellington Friends Centre at the end of Moncrieff Street, up the steps and in the room to the right.
๐ป Unable to join us in person? The session will also be streamed on Zoom, meeting room number 919-527-2569. There's no passcode on the room, but you will need to be signed in with a Zoom account to join the meeting.
