OWD NYC Planning Meeting

Please join us for the next OWD NYC Planning meeting.

We will be looking to finalize details and plan publicity and outreach for our two events in New York

We will again be putting on an event in Washington Sq Park at lunchtime on OneWebDay Sep 22 2009 - in the spirit of this year's theme of digital inclusion we will be featuring music and will be webcasting live. NYC Wireless are also bringing a booth and will set up a Wi-Fi hotspot.

We are also going to repeat the pre-OWD workshop activity at NYU that we have done the last two years. Theis will take place on the Saturday immediately before OWD ie Sep 19 2009 from 12-2pm and this year be in the form of a forum on the topic of Universal Broadband. This will also be webcast live.

Video of last year's Washington Sq. Park event will be shown on the ISOC-NY program Manhattan Neighborhood Network (Cable TV Ch.34) at 3.30pm on Sep 22.
