This online clay session is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body, and deepen contact with yourself through meditation and gentle sculpting.

It’s not about making something “beautiful” or “right”.
It’s about sensing, feeling, and noticing what happens inside while your hands are moving.

No experience is needed.
No pressure.
No judgment.

🧘‍♀️ How the session begins

We start with a guided, body-based meditation (about 10 minutes):

gentle breathing

grounding in the body

sensing weight, touch, and presence

arriving into the present moment

This helps shift attention from the head into the body
and prepares the hands to work slowly and intuitively.

🏺 Working with clay

After the meditation, we move into clay.

simple, step-by-step handbuilding guidance

slow and calm pace

attention to touch, pressure, and movement

focus on the process, not the result

You don’t need to know what to sculpt in advance.
I will guide you gently during the session.

You are free to follow along, adapt, pause, or simply stay present with the material.

💛 This session is for you if:

you feel disconnected from your body

you spend a lot of time “in your head”

you feel stressed, tense, or overwhelmed

you want to feel more grounded and present

you’re curious about mindful, embodied creativity

Beginners are very welcome.

✨ Why clay + body awareness?

Clay responds to touch.
It naturally slows you down and brings attention into the hands and the body.

Together with meditation, it can help:

soften tension

improve body awareness

feel more connected to yourself

trust sensation instead of overthinking

Many people say after sessions like this:
“I felt calmer, more present — and surprised by what my hands created.”

🧱 Materials — what clay do I need?

This session is beginner-friendly.

✔️ Recommended clay (for home use)

For online sessions, polymer clay works best.

Polymer clay:

is soft and easy to shape

does not require a ceramic kiln

hardens in a regular home oven

is ideal for simple handbuilding and slow sculpting

Beginner-friendly brands include:

FIMO Soft

FIMO Kids

Cernit

Sculpey

Any basic polymer clay is suitable.
A small block is enough — no special colors or tools are needed.

❗ Can I use regular ceramic clay?

If you work with traditional ceramic (high-temperature) clay:

you are welcome to join and sculpt along

firing is not part of the online session

ceramic clay requires drying time and a kiln

For this reason, polymer clay is recommended for beginners and home practice.

👐 Tools

No special tools are required.
You can use:

your hands

a toothpick or wooden stick

a simple knife

any smooth working surface
