Welcome to the OCC's daily, 5-hour marathon!

Everyone is welcome: writers, teachers, laundry-doers, coders, gardeners--whatever you're working on, you can work on it here.

  • A host is always present to monitor the room and run check-ins.
  • Stay muted until check-ins.
  • Cameras can be on or off, whatever you prefer.
  • You can join/leave at any point--drop-ins are always welcome.
  • These marathons are free and always will be.
  • Respect other attendees' identities, including pronouns, especially if they're listed in someone's Zoom name.
  • In the rare event that an attendee exhibits disruptive or discriminatory behavior, they will be removed from the Zoom room by the host, and the issue referred to the OCC's leadership team.
  • We're a volunteer-run, donation-funded nonprofit--if you're able to contribute financially, we have a Patreon!
  • If you're able to contribute time by hosting, please contact Brennin!
  • We also offer weekly Wednesday write-ins, and periodically offer 12-week Artist's Way workshops. Find those on the OCC event page.

This is not a critique group or open-mic (although we are looking into those as separate events!), so there is no sharing of work. This is a time to work on whatever you need to work on. We're all here to support each other.

Schedule (PT, time zone converter here):
9am - check-in and introductions
10:50am - check-in
12:10pm - check-in
1:50pm - check-in/check-out (this is the check-in for the next marathon--everything happens in the same Zoom room all day; no need to look for new links)
