Newly started support group for women survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Adamas Nexus is currently running on the first Monday of each month online (and when able due to COVID restrictions, in Canberra face-to-face).
This is a structured, self-facilitated meeting (similar to 12 step programs) in a
confidential environment where women can come and share, support and validate each other, knowing that domestic abuse has touched them all in some way. The group is filling a gap in the after-crisis services area and is looking to
provide ongoing support to women for the rest of their lives. Adamas Nexus
aspires to untap the potential in as many women survivors as possible to help
them thrive.
There is no cost to attend the meetings.

Adamas Nexus provides community, connection, and corroboration for women survivors of domestic, family, and sexual abuse. It is a post-crisis support group using lived experiences to drive positive change, growth, empathy and recovery. Meetings are held twice monthly, and provide post-crisis support to help survivors move forward and be positive contributors to their communities, not cycle back into abusive situations. Adamas Nexus provides a positive forward-thinking environment where people are validated and can receive knowledge of how other survivors have moved forward after the abuse.
