Scrapbuster - Junk Journal Clusters 01

He everyone ... for our first meet, I thought we could work on some scrapbusting ephemera. I have a huge pile of scrap papers and junk journal doo-dads and I need to start making ephemera to get it whittled down to a more manageable size ... plus I will have stuff ready to fill a junk journal. I have an overhead camera I keep on in case anyone wants to see what I am working on or how I am doing things.

Feel free to work on any junk journal activity you like - - or you can follow along with what I am doing. We will craft and chat, talk junk journals, etc.
For clusters I like experimenting with certain styles or designs. I come from a collage background, so I love the collage challenges that come with clusters. My goal will be to use up some scraps and I will go for a more grungy and vintage feel with mine. I was thinking to try some strip clusters or tabs similar to the feature photo ... and maybe some frame clusters and label clusters.

If you want to play along you need ...

• an assortment of paper scraps
• book text
• glue
• some ink pads if you like to edge things
• rubberstams and ink if you have any
• any labels, die-cuts, etc you might like to include
• you can also include little scraps of fabric or cheesecloth if you want any texture
