Christmas Journal Cards and Tags

It has been a crazy fall, but I have time for an evening meet this next week, so I am proposing Christmas cards, tags, or embellishments. I am starting to work on a Daily-ish December book made from Christmas handkerchiefs and linens and the cover is inspired by Amity Bloom's handkerchief blook class. I am working on the cover this weekend ... so I can show my cover if anyone wants to see.

A lot my book will probably be fabric, but I do plan on a lot of paper embellishments and some pages. So for this meet I am basically making Christmas journal cards and tags. I am hoping I can get at least 3 done, but that may be a tall order ... so we will see.

Please come if you want to make some fun cards or emelishments for your junk journals :) You don't have to do Christmas of course, but that is what I am working on. I will post some interest inspiration I am using for some design ideas in the photo section.

If anyone wants to play along with what I am doing, I will be using scraps of scrapbooking paper, colalge fodder from recycled Christmas cards, digitals, maybe some images from Daphne's diary if I feel inspired. I am also going to cut a bunch of Christmas floral die-cuts; my book will have a lot of Christmas florals and hopefully some birds - - and I am a little obssessed wth Christmas bells right now LOL. I will probably use some punches .. .nd I know I will waant to doctor up my die-cuts by embossing with clear or frosty embossing power. They look cool that way ... and it strengthens them.
