Hi everyone ... I just finished a small junk journal for a friend and I have a ton of scraps now - - so this meet is to make embellishmens and ephemera. I like to just see what I have and figure out something to make from that. I will post a few inspiration photos below.

For junk joumals, you can use paper, fabric, or a combination. I will try to get the paper thing going again, but I wll likely add a little lace and cheesecloth to mine. You can do any ephemera you like, but I am thinking I will try cluster embellishments and long scrappy tabs (these can be border decortions, belly bands, or page tabs for interest) ... maybe a hidden paperclip. You can look at the photos I am attaching for more ideas on what you might want to add.

  • Paper or cardstock scraps
  • Small fabric bits
  • Small focal images
  • Lace scraps
  • Cheesecloth or textured mesh
  • Labels
  • Die-cuts (purchased or punched yourself)
  • Buttons
  • Postage stamps
  • Rubberstamps and ink
  • Vellum scraps if you want any semi-transparent layers :)
  • Ink such as distress ink if you want torn edges grunged up a little :)

I have a whole bag of black film strips dies I had created, so I will want to use some of those :)
