Denim and Lace JJ Pages

It has been a crazy few months, but thought I would post a meet. I am looking to do several junk journal and fabric projects featuring denim and lace over the next few months -- so this may be the theme for a few meets ;) But feel free to bring your own stuff and style and just work on your own stuff if you like.

If you want to play along, I will be doung demin nad lace pages. I am getting some inspiraton from digital images. I like how they layer things and have interesting stuff in the background. This is about the color of denim - - you can do fabric, paper, or a combination. I am going to do a demin and lace masterboard. I will probably cut it up later for tags and other things as needed. I will be using some mixed media techniques, as I want to see if I can get a similar look to the sample photos I found.

Here are some suggested supplies I will be using:

• Some light denim and chambray fabrics in medium to soft blues
• Other blue fabrics - - some solid and some with prints
• Neutral papers with book text, ledger pages, etc
• Interesting blue collage papers
• Blue inks and paints
• White gesso
• Assorted lace
• Buttons
• Rubberstamps - - grungy mark-making stamps and some florals
• Blue collage images - - maybe blue butterflies and roses?
• Stencils
• White molding paste
