D&D 5E: Specularum, Part 6 (A Cask of Amontillado)

This is a Zoom session for Levels 1-2 PCs. Beginners are welcome!
Your Quest group consists of Good-aligned PCs whose deities guide your Campaign to save the World of Greyhawk from domination by evil supernaturals of immense power.

Kanos, headmaster at the Kanos School of Adventuring from which you graduated, and his professors of magic, weaponry, lore, stealth, and many other skills, have prepared you for this Quest with special abilities.

Previously: The Group continued investigating mysterious murders by the Veiled Society, who cover their victims with purple veils. They hurried to Fortunato’s house to prevent the conspirators from killing him, but they had already murdered his niece, Lucia. They captured a murderer who said he was hired by the Veiled Society. They learned that Fortunato had left earlier to help his friend Judge Montresor evaluate a cask of Amontillado wine. They also learned that Morrel’s large debt to Thomson & French was completely paid off by an unknown source, foiling the conspirators‘ plan to bankrupt him. Morrel still has no ships, so he cannot stop the conspirators from monopolizing the shipping trade.

Next session, the Group will continue investigating Specularum's Veiled Society.
