Monologue and Poetry Performance Night

Trying out a new event - bring a monologue or poem to perform - you don't need to memorize it, and it doesn't need to be polished - this is just for fun!

How I envision this going: those who wish to perform can 'raise their hands' in Zoom, and we'll go in order that way. You can introduce yourself (pronouns, location - optional) and the title and author of the piece you'll be performing. The only caveat here is that the piece needs to be by someone else.

For example: "My name is Irene. I'm in Kirkland, Washington and my pronouns are she/it. I'll be reading "If" by Rudyard Kipling."

After everyone has read, and if we still have time left, then we can go around again for anyone who has brought another poem or monologue.
