Come and join us this week to study Chapter 10 of Mark's Gospel.
Mark is written in a vivid, direct style. It is a fast-paced, action-oriented narrative of Jesus' life. Studying the Bible helps us better understand God’s word and enables us to live better lives.
Session plan
- Welcome and introduction.
- Opening prayer.
- Read through Chapter 8 as a group - please bring along with you a copy of the Bible, any version.
- Use a study guide provided by CBS (Community Bible Study) working through the questions.
- Closing prayer.
This is not an academic study. We will use the CBS questions to guide our work. If you have time, it might be useful to read the Chapter beforehand and identify any words or phrases that resonate with you.
Everyone is welcome to join us, and if you would like to take part, confirm your attendance and we will send over the Zoom link and the study guide.
Best wishes on your journey of faith.
(The group is non-denominational and suitable for all Christians and those seeking to learn about Christianity.
The sessions will last one hour)
