Cape Fear (1991) Film Discussion

NOTE: Karen suggested this movie and it's one that intrigued me. As you all know, Martin Scorsese is my all-time favorite filmmaker and the man rarely misses. Hot off the heels of Goodfellas, Scorsese decided to remake Cape Fear (1962) with longtime collaborator Robert De Niro in 1991. As Max Cody, De Niro delivers yet another iconic performance as a convicted serial rapist who seeks revenge on a lawyer and his family. What happens next is some of the best stuff De Niro has ever done. I haven't seen this movie in a very long time and I wonder if it holds up. Let's all find out together!
