First Prayer Meeting!

Hi everyone! I would love to host our first event!

We all have things that we need the prayers of others for, but I've learned that prayers, in the moment, with others, is the most powerful. The most loving. Why?

I believe it's because we are using our precious will and choosing to direct our finite attention and energy towards another, for their good. We are powerful sending and receiving stations, and when we send lovingkindness, empathy and metta to another, with others, miracles can happen.

And then there are the benefits for those praying. This is some of the highest work we can engage it, and every belief system speaks in some way of the blessings available to those who lift others up in prayer. We lift ourselves, while we lift others.

This will be a non-denominational gathering. Whatever your concept is of your Higher Power, call upon that. For some, it's the God within others in the group, for others, it's nature, still for others....it's the Great Mystery.

Please be ready to share how we can hold space for you....whether it's for you directly, or for someone you love.
