What we’re about

This group is a community that explores Japanese language and culture through onomatopoeia, transforming learning into an experience of discovering, feeling, and creating.

Through hands-on events and workshops, participants don’t just memorize onomatopoeia as vocabulary. Instead, we connect words with visuals, touch, taste, and creative expression, allowing language to be understood through the senses.
By using, expressing, and sharing what they learn, participants deepen their understanding of the richness of Japanese language and its cultural background.

Our main audience includes Japanese language learners and non-native speakers interested in Japanese culture, but we warmly welcome anyone curious about the intersection of language, culture, art, and technology.

Going forward, we will continuously host immersive offline and online events—such as exhibitions, quizzes, and creative workshops—to reimagine Japanese not as something you simply “study,” but as something you feel, enjoy, and experience.
