What we’re about

(Formerly Ontario D&D Game)*

I recently stepped up as organizer for this group because I've been looking for an in-person, campaign-styled group in the western Inland Empire, and haven't found many viable options. So I definitely want this group to provide that option. I'm willing to DM, but I'd really like to play as well, so if there are other potential DMs out there, I'd love to hear from you.

That being said, if there's sufficient interest in other formats--online, adventure league style one-offs, homebrews, etc.--this group can accomodate that as well. Whatever form this group takes, I hope I'm not alone in believing that it should be as inclusive as possible, as welcoming as possible, and as fun as possible.

So let's open it up for some discussion. What are you looking for in a D&D group, and how do you see yourself contributing 1that vision? Do you prefer homebrews, or a more by the book? Are you like the recent rule updates, or do you prefer the prior 5e rules. Or maybe you prefer Pathfinder or don't really care so long as the game is well-run and fun?

*I don't love the name of the group. I thought the previous "Ontario" was too narrow while "Inland Empire" a bit too broad. What I think is probably just right would be East of the 57, West of the 15, North of the 60 and South of the San Bernardio Mountains. But if you have any suggestions for a new name, please chime in!
