Algonquin park - Labour day long weekend trip

Trip fee

• 260/person

Includes

• 2 night, 3 day trip,
• Tour guide - 60 / person / day,
• Transportation & parking - 50 / person,
• Campsite reservation (2 nights) - 30 / person.
• The campsite will have electricity, drinkable water, hot shower and toilet available.
• If you wish to stay at a motel nearby, it will be about an additional 100-200 / night.

Rental gears

• Tent (shared among same gender) - 10/night,
• Camping bed (cot) - 15/night,
• Kayak - 30 / day,
• Life jacket - 5 / day.

Rental gear package

• Include all rental gears above - 50 (whole trip)

What you will need to bring?

• Pillow, blanket, towels and clothing for the trip.
• If you get the rental gear package above, everything will be provided and you will only need to bring pillow, blanket, towels and clothing for the trip. You're welcome to bring your own camping gear and must be packed very compact to fit within the car.

What about food?

• You're welcome to bring something from home but there're restaurants in the area as well. On the way over, we will grab some grocery at a supermarket and share the bill among those of us that would like to make some campfire dinner together.

Transportation - carpool

• 9:00am - Scarborough town center,
• 9:30am - Yorkdale Shopping Centre,
• 10:00am - Vaughan Mills.
• Home pickup / drop-off is possible for a detour fee of $2/km.
• First 2 person that sign up on meetup will get free pickup / drop-off at your home for no additional chargers.
• Toronto Union station pickup / drop-off is possible for an additional transportation fee of $20. If 3 or more person is pickup at this location then there will be no additional transportation fee.

• 4hr, 320km.

Saturday, August 30
Arrive to camp, setup tent, explore the nearby area, enjoy the starry night sky around camp fire dinner.

Sunday, August 31
Kayaking,
Wild catch and cook (fresh fish from the lake).

Monday, September 1
Hiking and exploring the area.
Drive back to GTA - will departure around 4pm and arrive within GTA around 8pm depending on traffic. If you wish to return sooner, kindly let Jonathan know when you sign up for the trip.
