During this special event, enjoy complimentary food from our sponsors Talent Karma (http://talentkarma.io/), the National Pan-Hellenic Council- Santa Clara Valley Chapter (http://www.next-stop.com/scvphc/scvphc.html), and the African American Community Services Agency (http://www.sjaacsa.com/).

About Onyx Community Connection

Onyx Community Connection is the largest Bay Area based black professionals Meetup group and the only group that regularly produces events for black professionals in the South Bay and Peninsula. We organize social, business and community service events to connect the community and amplify black excellence. Most of us spend much of our work and social life in the Bay Area being the only one or one of a small few- Third Thursdays is our monthly reprieve from cultural isolation- think of it like a black Cheers. It's a great opportunity to welcome new arrivals to the Bay Area, make/reconnect with friends, showcase black excellence and learn about other organizations serving the black community.

Most of the event is informal networking to the beat of our fabulous DJ but we always take time around 8:00 pm to thank our sponsors, introduction partner organizations & welcome new members.

We attract a multi-generational group of professionals of various fields. At Onyx Community Connection we believe in connecting the authentic community and building social capital to help others and ourselves.
